Jesse Baker and Eric Nuzum are pleased to announce the launch of their podcast production and creative consulting company, Magnificent Noise.
You haven’t heard much from us lately. We’ve been busy dreaming up something new. And today, we’re excited to let you know what we’re up to.
As we thought about what we wanted to do next, we realized two things: (1) that we really wanted to create great audio shows on our own terms, and (2) that we weren’t done working together. Many cups of tea, pints of beer, and a lot of thought and planning later, here we are, Magnificent Noise.
All of our projects will bear our watermark: distinctive and genre-defining work that entertains, enlightens, and fosters meaning. We will continue to embrace fresh approaches to narrative, with authentic and idiosyncratic voices, unexpected insight, and rich, cinematic sound.
While our ambitions are big, we intentionally want Magnificent Noise to remain a boutique production house and consulting company, built on an intimate scale. We want to give deep focus and attention to a small portfolio of projects and clients in order to make extraordinary things happen. In all of our work we focus on building creative alliances. We will continue to act as trusted partners to produce singular projects.
We are already at work on projects with longtime collaborators TED and Esther Perel, as well as several new projects with a number of networks and distributors.
We are also delighted to share that we’re developing projects with The New York Times. We are excited to work with a company we admire, some of the best fellow makers in the business, and an organization that matches our appetite to create best-in-class projects that will be loved by significant audiences.
Thanks for all your encouragement and support. The last year has been a wild ride that’s landed us in a joyful and exciting place.
The future is bright and full of possibility.
